You Make Losing Fun

This seems like as good a place as any to start:

It has recently come to my attention that the Iowa State football team has a running back named Stevie Hicks.

Do you think he knows? Do his teammates? Wouldn't Steve Hicks have worked just as well, and pretty much avoided the possibility that he'd end up with a nickname like The Witch? (A nickname, by the way, which should be assigned to him if it hasn't already.)

In any event, I'm sure the Cyclones are glad to have a Long Distance Winner on their side.
